Did melco tell you 650 watts per machine?  Just curious.  I'm not an
electrician so I'm not quite sure of the way to figure this.  I think a lot
of it works with anticipated runtime vs. the load you place on the
ups/battery.  If you put a higher load on it, the battery won't last as long
as the specs on the box indicate.  Of course, you don't want to overload the
circuit....

All I can tell you is it works.  I have never had to run a machine for more
than 5-10 minutes during an outage until things finished... So that's what I
can tell you from a practical side of things.

That being said, if I got another Amaya, I probably would pick up another
1500va UPC UPS and pop the new one on that.
