Is the p[olyester material stable?

re the mesh
Yes the mesh will hold 40K with 2 layers - at least it should ( depending also 
on the density)
 esp using the diagonally patterned mesh

I remember speaking to a customer last yr doing a large flag on nylon and  she 
used 2 pcs of the fusible diag mesh cross patterned
