OMG!!! why would they put down adoptable dogs in favor of dogs that
probably can't be re-habbed? this is a travesty! peggi
unfortunately, it is the law. However, there has been a change at the Mobile
County shelter recently, in that there have been extended hours to help working
people be able to adopt dogs and also Saturday hours, and volunteers have been
going in to help more animals be adopted. I do not know how well it is
working. A kennel club member who volunteered says it has been helping though.
