You can download the zen stone firmware update for windows xp from
http://us.creative.com/support/downloads/download.asp?MainCategory=213&sOSName=Windows+XP&region=2&Product_Name=ZEN+Stone&Product_ID=16424&modelnumber=&driverlang=1033&OS=10&drivertype=4

When downloaded simply press enter on the executable and connect your zen stone. The update takes a few seconds. Be aware that you may lose your position in your current playlist.
