Thousands of PCs all over the world have these ports as
standard, and never get used.

And as Ray said, one of these days, when you win the doo
club raffle, you might get a decent router and join the real

Hi Billy,

You can only disable it, you cannot remove it.  Unless of
course it is a separate card, if which case you can pull
it
out of the system.

It's not going to do any harm, and it really doesn't take
up
enough resource to loose any sleep over.
