Do I just copy the software to the internal memory, switch the recorder on
and let it run itself, or do I need to do something different?

Hi everybody, version 1.30 of the DM5 firmware is out, and good news,
they've fixed the daisy. It will now start playing a file at the point
reached, instead of going back to the beginning of a chapter, and you can
also, in theory, put in bookmarks.
As far as I'm aware you can put in a bookmark using the f1 button,
although I don't know how you delete bookmarks you don't want anymore.
