Hi Julie, download the firmware to your PC, plug in the mAC adaptor, and
connect to your PC's USB. The DM5 will power up.
Click on the firmware file. You'll get a welcome message, and
confirmation when it finds the DM5.
Press the start button. The firmware installs, and you'll get a message.
Don't unplug yet, as it does it a second time. The second time takes a bit
longer.
When it's finished you'll get a message telling you to disconnect the DM5
from the USB. You'll also get a finish button. Activate that either with
enter or the spacebar and that's it.

Hi everybody, version 1.30 of the DM5 firmware is out, and good news,
they've fixed the daisy. It will now start playing a file at the point
reached, instead of going back to the beginning of a chapter, and you
can also, in theory, put in bookmarks.
As far as I'm aware you can put in a bookmark using the f1 button,
although I don't know how you delete bookmarks you don't want anymore.
