Hi, what version of JAWS are you using? I know that in JAWS 8, my Windows Live Messenger contacts are automatically announced as soon as they're signed in. Perhaps you told Messenger not to display alerts when contacts sign in? This can be found in Messenger options, under the sounds and alerts category. Hope that helps.

I have had mine for almost three months and wish I had bought in

January

when it was released, and that it was available decades ago!!!
Some limitations from a V.I. point of view, but a fantastic piece of

kit.


Cheaper from other sources.
I bought mine from purely gadgets who are on line.
