Hi Dean,

I think they don't do the save thing, because some settings don't make sense
in each mode.  For example, you wouldn't set allow motorways to yes in
pedestrian mode.  So pedestrian for example, must go back to a known state,
that is, where it is known to work.

As for the manual, yes, it is brief.

Thanks for clearing those questions up.  I wonder in future versions 
if the individual modes will be saved as at the moment its just as 
easy to stick to one mode and move a few settings.  Its still quick 
to do but would be better if Access saved each one.  Before asking 
the questions I did read the manual, don't you think its a bit brief 
in places?  The program doesn't need much explaining but I found it 
particularly brief in the areas I wanted to know about!
