hi graham, not sure why you think vodafones coverage is so poor. i'd guess
there no worse than any other in that field. i've been with them for 5/6
years altogether and, certainly in the last couple of years, found very few
areas i have network problems. i've use my phone in such diverse places as
inner-city london, in the depths of the west highlands of scotland, the
yorkshire dales, middle of gatwick airport etc, and haven't found any real
inconsistancys. maybe i'm just lucky! smile. the only area which seems
consistantly poor is on board virgin's voyager trains, but even that's
improving these days. from what i've read and what people have said, i don't
think any of the networks would win a prize in the customer service
department. it seems to be totally down to who you actually speak too when
you ring.
