Hi Adrian.

Well, I don't know how experienced you are with your screen access product, but Samsung update plus can quite easily be used if your prepared to use the reading cursor of your application to route the mouse cursor to the buttons and controls you want to click on. As for easy display manager and magic keyboard, removing these will disable the display hotkeys and programmed FN keys which launch the various functions IE turning on and off wireless, Bluetooth and the touchpad.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Hi

Thanks for your help, I will turn off the ones I don't need
but to be honest I don't use them so I may as well do that
any way. A lot of them aren't accessible in any case.

Adrien

Hi Adrian.

Well, all of them have a use, but if you want to remove any
of them, easy network and magic doctor are expendable, also
Samsung EDS which is a waste of time. Most of the others
have fairly important functions, magic keyboard for instance
and easy display manager allow you to use the hotkeys and
control display settings. Also, update plus gets drivers
and software updates for your machine. If you created a
recovery partition during your initial system setup,
recovery solution will be needed should you ever need to
restore your system to its previous backed up state.

If there is any other program your not sure about, please
let me know.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Hi

Yes you are correct on most points, but as you guys have
been using the nc10 longer than me, you would perhaps have
worked out which ones are really necessary and which ones
aren't. That's the idea of the list, to help one another
and
give advice where it is required.

Fair point, well maybe not in relation to the Samsung
stuff
but he knows his own programmes at start-up and I think he
is an experienced computer user so I would hope he would
realize that a lot of that Samsung stuff is not required
at
start-up.

Hi

I'm playing catch up again but I think the problem might
be that Adrian
mightn't know which is actually needed as it were.

Would you not have to make that decision for yourself
Adrien? I do not
think you will need the Samsung programmes to load up at
Start-up but the
others are your own decision.
