Elenor, I?d turn it on. Give it maybe 10/15 minutes plugged in. Then turn Narrator on, with alt U, followed by alt N. If this doesnt? work give it another few minutes as it?s still loading the ?Out Of box Experience?. Keep trying this every 3 or so minutes until Narrator comes up talking. You can complete this initial setup, setting regional Options, create your Account, join your Wireless Network etc all with speech. I think vista let you do this as well. You can always ask the PC Retailer to run the initial setup for you if you would prefer. I?m just showing you how, (if you want to), do the initial setup yourself. Cheers, Barry. Once I turn it on, then anyone able to tell me the procedure until Windows 7 logo comes up. What will be the various dialogue boxes and what will I have to be putting in? I could have paid the shop £30 for the privilege but I am confident you good people with personal experience will be able to advise me. If people think I should pay for this privilege then I am open to that advice too. Many thanks.
