Hi Damon,
To answer your question, I have actually been given a new TV
by my parents, which although second hand, has a larger
screen, and this included a Freeview box.
Had I not been given this TV, I still would have gone for
Freeview over sky because of the fact that Freeview is a
one-off cost, where as, sky has to be paid for in
instalments.
However, taking into account what you've said regarding the
way AD can be recorded when using sky, I may reconsider in
2011 when the midlands is switched over to digital TV.
