[access-uk] Re: Netgem Free view box query

Hi Alex

You'll be lucky! I can get round a Freeview or Sky box to a fashion, and I
don't have any sight either. It's not ideal, but it is possible to just go
through channels, and I've managed to get to the interactive channels when the
tennis has been shown on Sky. The problem with the Netgem box now is that most
or certainly lots of channels no longer speak because they are outdated.

Hi Jackie,

Thanks for your message.

The thing is, what I'd really want is a Freeview box that supports AD but can
be easily operated by someone with no sight, as, as I know you're aware, my
wife Carol is totally blind. Therefore while looking for a modern box, I feel
it needs to be able to speak if at all possible, as well as supporting AD.
