Hi Barry,

Just had a thought. Is your mail actually being downloaded
to your own system? In short, if you pull the
phone/broadband plug on your Internet connection, can you
still see all your mail?

It won't be the first time that people have "thought" mail
was on their system, when in fact they were accessing a mail
storage server on their ISP's system.

George.

Thanks, Kevin. It was unchecked all the time. Back to the
drawing board.
I think this is simply a Tiscali quirk and I will have to go
into my account
now and then to delete the email files.

Barry

hi barry, in O.E. go into the tools menu, go to "accounts".
select the
account you use and tab round to "properties" and hit enter
on it. you then
need to go to the "advanced" properties sheet and it's the
last option
before the "OK" button. make sure it's unchecked. hope that
helps.
