Very good point, Ian. I've asked for this to feature to be included, so hopefully the change will soon be made more permanent. It doesn't announce the dash as a minus when it is followed by a pound symbol. The trick is to add an entry to the dictionary with a dash followed by a pound symbol being announced as "minus pounds".
