Lisa, just to add to Barbara's comments. I've seen this before when you
have your IE screen maximised. When in the maximised state, the drop down
menus will not operate. To overcome this, simply press F11 first and it should
restore the size of the window and allow you to use the drop down menus.

Hi there,
I am a new memnber and would like to know if anyone knows how to get
the drop down menus, file,edit, view etc to appear while using the internet. I
currently use Jaws 8 with internet explorer and have never had thiss problem
before with laptop. It is only when on internet that I cannot access the
menu's, I can only use the right hand side windows key to get any actions. I
use a Toshiba laptop. Any help would be gratefully accepted as it has baffled
me for some time.
