hi I would second the request for Leeds Manchester as they are not so large as Birmingham.

but can I add Sheffield to the list.
if I do not say it it will not take place,
I have a venue too.
the new Sheffield royal society for the blind. but I must check this out but can see no problem with it as they are always looking for this sort of event.

MANY THANKS

How about Manchester or Leeds as a venue?

Alexander,

We've thought about it - BCAB hosted a similar day in Birmingham after
Sight Village and it was the number of people who wanted to attend that
which sparked this off. We're looking into putting on something in
Bristol, Liverpool and Edinburgh - hadn't considered Birmingham but now
I do, I realise the last event there was for BCAB members only so
perhaps another one would be good. To be honest, it's a lot of work and
I'm concentrating on the London one for the moment. Will obviously pass
on any other information when I have it, but if anyone has thoughts on
where they'd like something like this, please contact me.

Steve

Hi Steve and all,

Are there plans to hold such an event as has been described
on this thread in Birmingham, or any other city outside
London? I ask this as I would be quite willing to pay to
attend such an event but will not be able to attend the
event in London due to a prior commitment on the date of the
event.

Alexander Shannon
