Live journal is a blog type platform.
It's more community driven and is a journal more than a blog. Although you
can blog on it, it's yoru style of writing that makes it more a blog. It's
just not blog designed.
Sorry to be picky, but it's important to mention if you want a blog.

I don't know how this compares with WordPress, but I do know several screen
reader users have blogs on LiveJournal and find it quite easy to use.

First, I know no html coding or programming of any kind. My problem is that
I want to start a blog, but my idea of a sort of blog interface could be
maybe something like edit fields in which you type text? I registered on
blogger.com, but it seems as if it doesn't work like that, the site seems
overcrowded, and I'm really not sure what to do. Is there a more accessible
