They are only supposed to work with hearings aids if they specifically
say they have inductive coils, but in practice most don't even work
then. Sorry to give you the bad news, but I've had such an awful time
trying to get them to work and BT who make phones with inductive coils
admitted to me that most don't work with hearing aids as there is too
much electrical interference from the phone itself. What was
suggested to me was that a few phones on the market have a headphone
socket where you could connect an inductive neckloop to the phone and
then the phone can be held away from your body so the interference
isn't a problem. However, even if you find one to buy (and I only
found one) you have to bring the phone near your body to talk into the
microphone, so it still doesn't really work. However, I was wondering
about the new phones that are mobiles and home phones once you are in
range (I think they are called BT fusion) as maybe you could connect a
mobile phone inductive loop with microphone (expensive, but they work
well in my experience) to the phone and then use it. I haven't tried
the route, having opted for a phone from BT with an amplifier and I
usually can manage to hear it without my hearing aids (and it has
large buttons and large display, a bonus), but it isn't brilliant and
may well not work for you.

All this is from personal experience, so if anyone else has found one
that works with hearing aids properly then I'll be over the moon to
hear from them!
