Google desktop is an excellent tool, but it would have to have been
installed before the file was deleted.

Eleanor,

I don't know anything about the program or if indeed it would be relevant to
your situation, but I've heard Google Desktop is good. If memory serves
I've known people recover long-ago deleted Email, so possibly it could be
the answer regarding your file. I'm assuming its a document?

Mark

Subject: [access-uk] Deleted Important File - How Can I Retreive -
Not Recycle Bin Please

        Hi
I have deleted a very important file in October possibly or early
November. I want to get it back if at all possible. It is not in the
recycle bin. I have Tune-up Utilities 2008 but I do not find it very
accessible and cannot remember where to go there to see if I can retreive
the file. Any suggestions please?

        Eleanor
