Yes I do. Google desktop is better, faster and easier than the Windows search, plus it can be used to retrieve deleted files. The interface is similar to the on-line Google search and it's very accessible. I'd definitely recommend it. Sorry, Eleanor - This is no use for your current situation, but you might consider it for the future. For now, you might do a search on line for a file recovery tool. There are lots out there, some free and some to buy, but I haven't used one so I can't recommend any. Do you use the program incidentally? If memory serves I've known people recover long-ago deleted Email, so possibly it could be the answer regarding your file. I'm assuming its a document? I want to get it back if at all possible. It is not in the recycle bin. I have Tune-up Utilities 2008 but I do not find it very accessible and cannot remember where to go there to see if I can retreive the file. Any suggestions please?
