Subject: [access-uk] Re: BT 1471 service caller return free
Hi Martinhow do we find out if we are already registered with this new service?
In order to ensure that the concession is only available to those with a genuine need, it was decided to provide this service to any BT customer registered with BT's 195 Free Directory Enquiries service, as well as any BT customer receiving their phone bill in an alternative format such as Braille.
This change will be applied automatically to customer's accounts but if you are registered with 195 and not receiving the service, you can phone: 0800 587 0195 (Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00) or write to: Pin Registration, BT Retail, PO Box 547, Leeds, LS1 5WX.
Remember this is a BT service, so only applies to those of us using BT
landlines, and as far as I am aware we can only have 1 line registered for
the
free 1471-3 caller return service.
I must admit I am surprised that RNIB never made us aware of the new service, and BBC in touch didn't either?
Regards, Derek
