Hi Steve,

Thanks for this. Audio Go have changed their site (again). The 'download
with browser' link has replaced the 'listen online' link. While this is
better, I wish they'd fix their site and once done, leave it alone.

At least I can download my title now instead of streaming it though!

Ed

Pele, Ed,

The last time I tried this site a couple of months ago, I also couldn't
download anything using JAWS. Yesterday afternoon I found it easy to do.
This morning I was also able to do it with Windows-Eyes, although less
easily.

I use Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit, and Internet Explorer 8. I have three
books in my library, which opens after I sign in.

With JAWS 13.0.924, for each book I get:
The title of the book
Please rate this title
Link review this title
Link download with manager
Download in browser

Although that last isn't given as a link, if I press Enter on it I get a new
window with my focus in the address bar. I can Tab once to a Download All
link, and a second Tab gets me to a download for that title. Pressing Enter
on this second download link gives me a dialogue where I can cancel, save or
open the file, and from there it's straightforward.

When I do the same with Window-Eyes 7.54 on my PC, I can't activate the
Download in Browser link with the keyboard. What I can do is find the
Download with manager link, move the mouse to this link with Insert + NumPad
Plus, then use the number pad DownArrow to move down two lines to the
Download in browser link and use NumPad stroke to activate it.

It sounds like you get something different from this, and I wonder if it's
because I'm using Internet Explorer 8. If I get the chance, I'll try it with
9.

Steve

Hi Pele,

The site is a nightmare. You used to be able to download the books either
using Internet Explorer or the download manager, but the download manager
now seems to be the only option. I've tried the site with JAWS 13,
Window-Eyes 7.5.4.1 and System Access, and none of them will read the
download manager.

I can stream the books online using System Access and occasionally JAWS, but
this is obviously no substitute when you've paid to be able to download the
book.

I'd be interested in any success others have had with the site in case I've
missed something.

Ed

Subject: [access-uk] AudioGo Website

Hi Everyone

I am using the 64-bit version of Windows 7 Premium and Internet Explorer
9 with the latest version of Window-Eyes.

I am having a problem with a website: www.audiogo.co.uk. I have bought 3
MP3 books and can find no way of downloading them. It has never been the
most friendly website, but I used to be able to download books by opening
the Context Menu and choosing "Save Target As" on a link below the book that
said "False". This has changed. There is a link "Download with Manager"
which I cannot get to work, and there is a line saying "Download with
Browser" which is not a link or a button.

If anyone has found a way to download books from this site, please let me
know.

Pele West
