Hi James - Well, 128 bit is really disappointing to me, is this the bit rate most legal sites use I wonder - when you think that you don't get the disc and the packaging, then for an album, it isn't good value as it's possible to get digitally remastered albums for similar prices, and even cheaper for a lot of back-catalogue stuff. It's probably quite reasonable for individual album tracks, but again, if they're in secure Windows Media format, then I take it that when burned to CD, they wouldn't play in my DVD player or my PTR1, or on my Ipod shuffle? If I'm right about this, then that sounds rather restrictive to me! If you want to convert to mp3 you will have to burn the track to CD and then convert it using Media Player, CDex or whatever you use normally, or analogue rip it using Total Recorder or similar (yes I know you don't like that particular solution Steve :)).
