Daniele and I would like to publicly applaud and thank Marybeth for her 5 year
effort! I can honestly say it was the potlucks that made us feel welcome in
the Havurah community, and I believe it provides a way for those who may not
initially feel comfortable with the services to find their place and role.
For those of us who don't have other connections to Havurah families, such as
through schools or other YS organizations, the potlucks are one of the only
ways we can socialize with others on a regular basis. For all their scheduling
troubles, they serve a vital role in maintaining our community.
Thanks again Mary Beth.
