His thought-provoking writings probe the seminal issues of the Bible and religious thought from a philosophical perspective---including: ethics, psychology and the soul, creation, prophecy and knowledge of God. In this course we will trace Maimonides’ intellectual development through Heschel’s illuminating biography and study the array of his writings.
