This is definitely an interesting observation. I'm definitely on a fuzzy
day here. I did note this point earlier,but forgot to respond to it in my
earlier reply. This would strongly suggest a remaining issue in instrument
loading, correct?

Also, just to clarify, I take it that for you at least, pre7 actually did
reliably get over the 'explode on startup' phenomenon?

I wonder if we're seeing several only partially connected faults?

It's looking more & more as if this is the case. If we can knock them over
one by one, then eventually we should get to the end of them ... he said
optimistically.
