Moving to the left, or moving to the right (as was probably intended with the

Moving to the left is convenient for shortening a curve /before/ the steady
state, while retaining the initial part. Moving to the right has the obvious
benefit, that the selection rests at the same point in time
Saving behaviour changed between 1.5.4 and 1.5.5
I suspect there is a call to 'update master' which should only occur on
changes
*to* a current part.
Unfortunately I'm at work all day tomorrow, so I don't know when I can look at
this in detail.
Hey, no urge. These are kind-of annoying but really are not a real obstacle,
once you're aware of the issue. Definitively not a show-stopper.
