Now the dust has settled on V1.3.9 (debian have accepted it, and I believe
fedora will do so shortly) I want to get to work on those config files again.
First off I want all instances to be able to write to a single history list
which will be loaded at first startup and saved at close.
As I said on the yoshimi forum, when you open the menu it always regenerates the
list from memory and you can't open two in different instances at the same
time. Logically, if you can't open two at the same time, neither can you write
two of the latest updates to memory at the same time.
Done like this, the history in memory, and hence the file will always be
correct.
I did think about some form of hack to make the other instances always read
from and write to instance zero for this, but that seems quite the wrong way to
do this sort of thing.
Can you help me with this please?
