I've just checked our status in debian. V 1.3.8.2 is now in both sid and
stretch (testing) and has *no* bugs marked against it.
It is also in the ubuntu development version 'The Xenial Xerus' so hopefully is
in time for the next long term release.
A slight disappointment is that KXstudio has nothing newer than V 1.1.0
