Decision time?
The call for submissions is now out, with a deadline for 28 Feb (shorter
timescale than usual).
Previously my workshops have been tech-heavy and somewhat rushed - trying to
cover a lot of ground. I'm wondering whether a more laid-back musician-focussed
one whould be worth doing. Apart from anything else there aren't likely to be a
lot of new features added between now and June.
If so, what sort of things would people like to know about? Are there things
from a musicians viewpoint that don't seem very clear?
Also, I'm very much a (mediocre) keyboard player, but I know there are people
on here who use other devices, such as wind controllers, so does anyone fancy
the idea of teaming up and showing how they use these with Yoshimi?
To allay any fears, LAC audiences are extremely friendly, and supportive. If
things go wrong they are far more likely to offer help than to criticise!
Finally, as far as possible I want us to put on a smooth, polished event, so we
probably need a fair idea of where we're going with any of this by the end of
January to put forward a decent proposal - we would have much more time to sort
out the details of course.
