OK, confirmed exactly the same behaviour with 1.3.8 here. Strangely, an old file
of mine (kept precisely for testing this change) works OK. Also your file
behaves correctly on the current master. If I can find time (har!) I'll
investigate further out of curiosity, but with the next version coming out
soon-ish I don't think it's a priority.
