Dear Colleague,
As Editor-in-Chief of the open access journal *Land*, I am pleased to
announce the opening of the 2018 *Travel Award*s competition sponsored by
*Land*.
*Two* Travel Awards *(800 Swiss Francs each)* will be granted to
postdoctoral fellows or PhD students to support attend international
conferences in 2018 where they will make oral presentations on research of
relevance to land systems science. For details of areas of interest to
*Land* see recent issues or visit http://www.mdpi.com/journal/land/about.
The deadline for applications for these awards is *28 February 2018*.
