Hi Wengier,
Yes, LPT4 = CLIP works in vDos-lfn build 2016.06.03, which is
excellent. Many thanks for getting that fixed.
Some problems I've noted in this build (I haven't compared your
earlier builds of the June version), using NB3 under Win7:
The NB "find" command now doesn't work. It is supposed to find all
files matching the filespec on the current drive or the specified
drive. This command always reports "not found" (with keymode 1; with
the default keymode, the cursor just sits on the command line, or
returns to the beginning of the command line, and there is no report).
On some occasions I haven't been able to identify, every other
keystroke produces a pop-up from the NB Help system--it's what would
happen if I went into Help (F1), chose "Options," and entered "DOS".
See screenshot below. What causes this and how can I avoid it?
Another oddity is that at times, an ASCII 16 (right-pointing
triangle) is displayed after every keystroke. In both these cases,
abandoning vDos-lfn usually is required.
Cursor movement with the arrow keys is a bit slower than in the
previous vDos versions (I've specified keydelay = 500 and keyinter =
20), *until* I rem those parameters. Then cursor movement speeds up
considerably. Is that what you would expect?
Thanks for any remedies.
James
