Please be prepared for the meeting on Monday. You will get details of what you
need to do from John Stringer who will be the one inviting us to link up.
Prior to the meeting - 7.30 prompt as ever ! - please be seated with your
preferred nibbles and glass of something.
The plan is to send everyone out in advance the valuation sheet ( taken from
close of markets Thursday) , the treasurers report, the individual raconteur
reports with their recommendations and any new suggestions for investment. I
had suggested we all have a prepared sheet of paper with a green tick on one
side ( a "yes" vote) and a red cross on the other ( you guessed it, a "no") but
John advises me the conference system allows for voting and tallying of votes.
Hopefully it will be fun and we of course all welcome some fun. Please may I
have a volunteer in advance to write the report for the Bridge - as witty as
possible to send a further bit of joy through the Valley
