Dear Colleagues

We have been working with Ruth Dodwell to refresh the website and make it more
useful and easier to use.

As well as tidying the design and making it a responsive site (one that alters
depending on the device - computer, tablet, phone - you use) we have a number
of other changes planned:

1.      Simplify the structure so that it is not longer has the Marketplace /
Forum split.
2.      Update the 'About us' pages to reflect the current structure and
operation and to list members of the reference group. This list would be only
Name, Organisation and Email address
3.      Provide links to organisations in Worcestershire - this would replace
the Partners pages. Each entry will consist: Name of the organisation; Logo; a
sentence about what it does; and a link to the organisation website. This
should avoid the information on our site becoming out of date. The list will
include organisations which were not part of the original TLI group. As the
list grows it might be necessary to divide the list into headings - I'd welcome
suggestions for the headings but I realise that many organisations provide
support in a number of different areas.
4.      Provide a form to post News or Opportunities (Jobs, Volunteering,
Events). This will be simpler for users and for Worcestershire Voices. The form
will capture the details you want to publish and when submitted it would not go
live immediately (to avoid unwelcome posts from spammers) but will need to be
authorised before going live.

I'm keen to move forward with these changes can you please let me have your
thoughts and a draft text / logo for your entry in the partners list. The
current list is:

    Community First
    Worcester Volunteer Centre
    Pershore Volunteer Centre
    Evesham Volunteer Centre
    Droitwich Spa and Rural CVS
    Bromsgrove and Redditch Network
    Community Action Wyre Forest
    Community Support Initiatives Ltd
    Midwest Rural Enterprise CIC
    Young Solutions Worcestershire
    Worcester Community Foundation

but I'm keen to extend this to the much wider group who engage with our work.
