Beautiful morning A Gorham Girl Scouts Troop - I am not sure of the
correct name and their Girl Scout Leaders had the honors of connecting and
raising a new American and new POW - MIA Flags up on the new Flagpole and
placing 39 Flags on the newly cleaned and realigned Granite and Bronze
Plaques.
Will send a pic later today. I was speaking with some friends after the
ceremony and Carson and Cathy Wood heard my voice - " Dennis, is that you
?! "- his right hand swung gently towards me and I grabbed it with my right
hand; " Hi Carson ! " His next words will stay with me " " Cathy
described the raising of the Flags by the Girl Scouts - I wish I could have
seen it !!! "
Last night before the skies opened up, I stopped at Applebees for a free
entree - and met Llwelleyn Randall and his Wife ? they invited me to their
table - we were there for 2 hours I think.
She had some Very Interesting Points regarding the rebuilt Cumberland
Mills Triangle - I received a polite but stern Lesson about that project
after we somehow got into the small organization named the WSMAC. They both
think WSMAC is a very good and important group.
