Thank YOU Kim !!!   The Metro Bus Stops on Mechanic Street sometimes have a
Bus stopped on both sides of Mechanic Street.  I don't know if that is
coincidence or if the Schedules are planned that way. In the Afternoon with
Heavy Commuter Traffic in both Directions, Drivers and Metro Passengers
need to pay Attention to each other along with traffic entering and exiting
the Parking Lot next to Hub Furniture. Passengers leaving a Stopped Metro
Bus are the most Vulnerable people as they become PEDESTRIANS with Vehicle
Drivers moving in both Directions.   Its Important to remember that
Passengers on a Stopped School Bus cross In Front of the School Bus while
Metro Bus Passengers are supposed to cross Behind the Metro Bus.

1. An hour ago on a bright and frosty Sunday, I was stopped at Spring
& Main Streets, facing Main, waiting for a green light. When I saw the
Green Light, one car heading E on Main went on thru on a Red Light at the
same time as two women and 1 man jogged across from Main Street west of 
the
new Sculpture Park, stopped for the driver running the Red Light, jogged
again while talking to each other and Crossing Main Street diagonally
towards the Big Apple Store and Gas Station while I being first in line on
Spring Street had a Green Light and had to stay stopped while the above 
Key
stone Kops movie was playing ...

2. Metro Buses: When they stop at a designated Metro Station in
Downtown Westbrook to let off Passengers : Does it make any Difference on
whether Passengers cross In FRONT of the Metro Bus or In BACK of it ? With
busy Traffic in both Directions.
