Around 3pm Friday afternoon, after I made a weak attempt to remove some of
the frozen slush from near the Pushbutton Control for the Hannaford side of
the WCD - Hannaford Crosswalk. I started walking back to my truck in the
Hannaford Parking Lot. It was parked in the second Row from the Left,
heading in.
As you walk in on the Right hand sidewalk with the Saco & Biddeford Savings
Bank to the Right, you come to an uncontrolled Crosswalk, where the main
Access Drive, turns sharp Right and a straight thru access road goes by on
your left.
Before stepping off the sidewalk onto the Crosswalk, a Pedestrian needs to
pay Visual Attention to their Right for oncoming Exiting traffic from the
Store and Bank
AND Incoming Traffic behind You that may decide at the last second, to turn
Right instead of going straight down to the far Left side of Hannafords,
just as you may step onto the Crosswalk. I would not want to be walking
there in darkness.
