Leelee and I have been talking about meeting times, especially for the
next two months. Our Wednesday meetings in the summer conflict with the
Riverbank Park concert series, which I am told run from 6 to 7 PM, through
August 22. One of our active members, Dennis, is involved with the one next
week, and will also be away for something else during our August meeting.
I'm wondering if we could help him attend at least next week by pushing our
meeting back to maybe 7:30 to 9 PM instead of 5:30 to 7? I think that we
had adopted an earlier time for some people who preferred it, because they
would be attending in a capacity related to their jobs, but they have not
been as active at the recent meetings recently anyway. Then the rest of us
can enjoy the concert if we want, and also have time for supper before the
meeting rather than after.
What do others think, both about our July and August meetings, and the
meeting time in general?
