Hi Keith
Just writing to let you know that Syd has not been too well just recently. He
had a fall about a week and a half ago and due to some nasty bruising he ended
up in Pembury hospital, where they were unsure if he had broken something. To
cut the story short he hadn't but he has now ended up at Hawkhurst Cottage
hospital for some recuperation.
At present it is not known how long he will be there, but I am pleased to say
that I visited him yesterday and, everything considered, he seemed in good
spirits. He was up and dressed, which is a start.
I promised him I would let you know, it was really to explain the reason for
his silence.
