Dear club colleagues and friends, FIRST-HAND EXPERIANCE OF THE ASPIDISTRA -
West Kent ARS members will be given a first-hand presentation on the Aspidistra
by Mike M0FCD.
For his presentation Mike will have a number of photos of the installation that
was on Ashdown Forest, and which was the place of employment for many amateurs
from around the area over many years, until the masts and equipment were
decommissioned.
We very much hope that you will join us at this meeting which will be
enlightening for many, especially those who may have visited in recent years
and cannot visualise the equipment and work that went on within the chambers.
Non members are very welcome to attend this meeting, for which we would ask a
donation of £2 to cover costs, which includes a tea/coffee and biscuits, during
an interval break.
The meeting will commence at 8pm in the Bidborough Village Hall, TN3 0XD.
