For what it's worth, I regard this text as a superb overview of the
interpretative literature with a helpful schemata for the various broad
styles of interpretation that have emerged. Whatever one may make of
her own judgments - and she is quite sparing with them - it's coverage
of the scholarly material is going to be helpful to anyone trying to
find their way through the secondary material. I'd highly recommend it.
