[wisb] two female cardinals fighting

Hi Everyone,
I heard the most terrible ruckus in the back yard this AM to find two female
cardinals really going at it!
They were really fighting with each other and making a lot of noise. Does
anyone know why? Is it
territory defense? Place to set up nests?
