A group of us were in Milwaukee today. Of the 5000 ducks we didn't see any
scoters or other unsual ducks. We did see 2 Red-throated Loons out from the
river mouth. Lots of Glaucous Gulls (5-6). But didn't see other good gulls.
Most were out on the far breakwater.
Had a Horned Grebe by the Petrolium Pier. Try as we did, we couldn't find a
Harlequin.
We ended with a close Short-eared Owl at Bong.
