The following comes from Peregrine Falcon expert and bander Greg Septon.
(Noel Cutright, Ozaukee County)

Horicon Marsh has always been "the place to go" for young peregrines after they
disperse; especially July & August when the shorebirds are present. So far this
season, there have been 3 positively identified youngsters.

August 12, 2012 - "Stormy" (b/r) 29/W, a female produced this year at Chicago's
Lakeview nest site was photographed along Old Marsh Road by Laurie and Rick
Vant Hoff.

August 19, 2012 - Two peregrines were photographed together in a tree by Dave
Freriks.

a. "Ellen" (b/r) 36/V, a female produced this year at the UW-Milwaukee nest
site.

b. (b/r) 73/E, a female produced this year at Capital Plaza Tower, Frankfort,
 KY.

August 24, 2012 - "Stormy" (b/r) 29/W (see above) was observed by Thomas
Wood along Old Marsh Rd.
