Stopped at Lower Mud Lake. Some new waterfowl has come in. 19 Lesser Scaup, 13 Redheads, 11 Canvasbacks, 1 Buffelhead and 2 Ring-necked ducks( one was around all winter). Plus lots of common goldeneye and mergansers. The Bald Eagle is on it's nest and 2 others were flying around. Also my first ring-billed gull for Dane co. this year. Didn't see any of the swans today. The wide spread on Cty B had geese, but nothing different. Worth watching. Going thru Prairie Du Sac yesterday saw 20 eagles. Heard screech, barred and a saw-whet at Devils Lake in the late evening. The saw-whet didn't give the toot-toot call. Steve Thiessen Stoughton ,Dane co. #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
