Woodford's Ponds SE of Jim Falls are full - for the first time in years. The pond east of the the road has water in it for the first time in years and plenty of water birds, including Buffleheads, Ring-necked Ducks, Northern Shovelers, Blue and Green-winged Teal, Lesser Scaup, a Pied-billed Grebe and American Wigeon. Also three Lesser Yellowlegs. A scope will be helpful for those who visit. The ponds west of the road are mostly frozen. These ponds should be good for birding throughout spring migration.
