This is the eBird report for the UW Madison coordinated Sherman School NatureExplorers weekly walk in Wild Warner Park. Some sun and clouds today with lite snow on a 6 inch base, high 20's, fairly calm. Not much bird activity in Warner in general lately due to extreme cold. Even so, alert kidsspotted some today, and the Nuthatch, and Chickadee were first located and identified by sound even with the unavoidable noise of 40 happy kids on their first outing of the semester. We also found holes where a Pileated had heem working.    1 Red-tailed Hawk 3 Mourning Dove   1 Red-bellied Woodpecker  1 Downy Woodpecker  1 Black-capped Chickadee 3 White-breasted Nuthatch  1 Northern Cardinal - Paul Noeldner, Madison Audubon Paul Noeldner 608-698-0104 ethicalguidebook.com / \ (:>) / \ #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
